We meet our friends Adam and Leda for breakfast at our favourite café Xenos. Adam and Leda only live a couple of neighbourhoods away but despite all of our best efforts, we haven’t seen them since my birthday in July! How crazy is that?! It is so good to catch up and after giving them some of my Chocolate Roughs, I enrol them on the Feeder Programme! We decide to walk off our epic breakfasts and give Adam and Leda a tour of the neighbourhood. It is such a lovely morning – we definitely won’t leave it so long to see them next time!
It ‘s with a heavy heart that I drag my sorry ass over to the gym to freeze my membership for a month. I know it’s the right thing to do but it’s still not something I want to do! And I hate not getting or doing what I want! I take some comfort from the fact, that at least I won’t have to pay membership for a month and set about thinking how I can spend the money I’ll save!
Later I get to work on my iodine free project and make a massive batch of iodine free Spaghetti Bolognaise. This is a recipe that I make regularly and can be easily adapted to be iodine free, and it freezes brilliantly, so we can have instant, iodine free and delicious meals ready to go whenever we fancy.
