I’ve had a heavy heart and all the feels the past couple of days. The siege in Sydney really got me. There’ s been the negatives; the sadness, anger, confusion and heartbreak that this ever even happened, but there’s always a flip side. I’m full of gratitude for all the helpers and people who keep us safe, I’m thankful for my lot in life and feel enormous pride in the place that I call home, and the people who live in it. Together we can make a difference.
I’ve learned too, that hate is really ugly but peace is beautiful.
