Huzzah for the weekend. I can’t believe that this time last week, I was hot footing it all over Canberra and channelling my Inner Minnie. Isn’t it funny the difference a week makes?
Running makes me happy. For me, it’s not just about how it makes my body look and feel, it’s about what it does for my emotional wellbeing. That is a lot. A whole lot. Running is my number one stress buster and it’s much cheaper (and frankly, a lot more fun,) than therapy. It’s quite the theme this week, Steph talked how running changed her life – she’s so inspiring – but it’s not just us. Even celebrities say so.
I have a brain that goes at two speeds, slow and stop. I once went to the doctor because I was worried about early onset of dementia, to which she told me, “if you can remember that you’re forgetting, you’ve got nothing to worry about.” But still I worry. What can I say? Worrying is my life’s work. In the meantime, I’ m all over these tips for a healthy brain and the bonus brain food recipe too.
Talking of keeping healthy and eating healthy I am determined to get to the local Farmers’ Markets if it’s the last thing I do. My nana trolley needs an outing, and quite frankly, so do I. I’ll be an old hand now that I have my very own guide on how to shop at a Farmers’ Market!
If you’ve ever wondered what you can do to support a friend whose child has a diagnosis of ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), wonder no more. Just read this. Even if you don’t have a friend who has a child with an ASD diagnosis, read it anyway because not only is this post open, honest and real, it’s also about looking out for each other.
I love sleep. I just can’t get enough of it… literally. I’m a sucker for some good sleep tips and I love the sound (and I’m sure to love the smell) of this lavender pillow spray. I’m totally going to try this. It’s got to be the ultimate way to scent myself to sleep!
Autumn is here and the mercury is dropping like hot weather is going out of fashion. I think leggings are totes going to be my friend this season, so I loved these rules for wearing leggings.
Tell me, have you popped your Farmers’ Market cherry yet? Does the amount you move affect your mood? Are you getting enough of the good stuff (and by good stuff, I mean, sleep)? What’s your number one fashion favourite this season? Pray, do tell!
Here’s how The Ultimate Rabbit Hole works:
Every Saturday morning, we will open up the rabbit hole link up for bloggers to add their link list posts or even just their favourite post (if you are not of the link list kind) for the week. Do try and pop along to say howdee to some of the other lovely linkers. Link up here, over at Calm to Conniption, A Little Part of the World or Our Urban Box. It doesn’t matter where you add your link because it will appear on all four blogs, as if by magic! The link up will stay open until midnight the following Monday.
Be a smarty and join this linky party!
