Nigella’s Chocolate Chip Muffins
Double the chocolate and double the yum – these are hands down my favourite muffins. They’re quick, easy and require just a handful of pantry staples. They’re made with oil not butter, so if you substitute your favourite milk alternative and dairy free choc chips, you can easily make these dairy free.
Simone’s Best Ever Muffins
I will be eternally grateful to dear reader Simone for sharing this recipe because these muffins are scrumdiddlyumptious! Blueberries and dark chocolate are the perfect partners in these yummy cafe style muffins although you can use raspberries and white chocolate if that’s more your jam. Sour cream is the hero ingredient in these muffins – they’re big, fat and fluffy!
Lemon and Blueberry Muffins
These lemon and blueberry muffins are also made with sour cream and are marvellously moreish. The combination of the juicy blueberries and zesty lemon is really hard to resist. Best of all, you can whip up a batch of these in mere minutes!
Date and LSA Muffins
Dates give these muffins a subtle sweetness and the LSA (linseed, sunflower seeds and almonds) gives them a nutritional boost. These are a great option for a delicious morning muffin or an on the go snack.
Mini Mandarin and Poppyseed Muffins
These bite size muffins are super tasty, super easy and super economical because they use the whole fruit, skin and all! These muffins are super easy, freezer friendly, go great in a lunch box and if you haven’t got mandarins, oranges will work just as well.
Pear and Choc Chip Muffins
These muffins are peary delicious and the pear and chocolate work so well together. They’re quick, easy and a great way to bake with some seasonal fruit.
Nutella Stuffed Muffins with Cinnamon Topping
There’s a lot to love about these muffins from the oozy Nutella on the inside to the crunchy cinnamon sugar topping. It’s just the tops!
Mandarin and Cranberry Muffins
I think these muffins taste like Christmas but they’re so delicious you’ll want to eat them all year round. They’re not super sweet either making these a brilliant breakfast muffin. Don’t worry if you can’t get satsumas or mandarins, oranges will do!
Spinach and Pesto Savoury Muffins
If you have a savoury tooth as opposed to a sweet one then these Spinach and Pesto Savoury Muffins are for you! It’s the combination of the pesto and the two cheese blend that makes these freezer friendly muffins so irresistible!
Spaghetti Bolognese Muffins
I know these delicious delights are not technically a muffin but they are baked in a muffin tin, they are muffin shaped and they are muffin tasty so I’m including them in this round up. Plus these spag bol muffins get bonus points for being much less messy to eat than spag bol in a bowl!
What’s your favourite type of muffin? And which of these would you choose?
