November was short and sweet but we still managed to pack quite a bit in. Working on the premise it’s better late than never, I’m taking stock of the penultimate month of the year. If you know where the time has gone this year, please let me know in the comments!
Baking: And sharing the recipe for this Irish Apple Cake with Whiskey Sultanas – it’s the real deal.
Making: My own dumplings and am pretty chuffed with my efforts.
Cooking: My way through Recipe Tin Eats’ Tonight. What a tome!
Eating: All things warm and hearty.
Drinking: Coffee and lots of it. Love the complimentary Christmas biscuit with my cappucino.
Sharing: Not one but two recipes this month. Who even am I?
Posting: This deliciously Easy Lemon and Oregano Chicken Traybake. I don’t want to be pushy but you must try!
Linking: Up with Sherry and friends for this month’s edition of In My Kitchen.
Waiting: Until the middle of the month to put up the Christmas tree – such restraint!
Looking: At the tree makes me so happy.
Marvelling: At the likeness of our new Teddy ornament!
Thinking: Of my blogging buddy Min who recently joined the LMC (Lost Mums Club.)
Knowing: It’s a club no one wants to be in. Sending so much love to Min.
Loving: Winter skies.
Liking: Our Who Gives a Crap Christmas loo paper – our bathroom has never looked so festive!
Disliking: The fact that I’m still coughing. I wish I could make it stop.
Starting: To watch a Christmas movie a day – it really does keep the doctor away.
Watching: Shrinking on Apple TV – it’s just brilliant!
Listening: To the podcast Anatomy of a Murder – the episodes are quite short so perfect for in the car.
Reading: Festive fiction and sharing five of my favourites in this Christmas reading round up.
Wearing: Hats, coats and gloves – it’s been baltic.
Feeling: Chilly! November has been so cold.
Finding: It hard to believe we had snow in November!
Attending: A Christmas wreath making workshop. Sorry but mine is just too ugly to share here or on our front door. LOL!
Celebrating: Our 20th meetaversary with a delicious dinner at The Slanted Door.
Wondering: Where the time goes! It feels like a hot minute since we first met.
Admiring: My new nails!
Getting: Dressed up for an epic Halloween party at the local village pub with friends. This pic of David is a classic!
Heading: North to see the fam bam for David’s mum’s birthday.
Matching: Family hats necessary!
Enjoying: A girl’s night in Birmingham and seeing the comedian Frank Skinner.
Realising: That clean sheet day is better when you’re changing Christmas sheets!
Returning: To work as an invigilator and really enjoying it.
Bookmarking: All the things to see, eat and do on our trip to Cologne. Very excited!
Waiting: For Santa!
Thanking: Sue and Debbie for helping Min, hosting the link up and keeping us all connected.
I hope you had a November to remember for all the right reasons. If I don’t catch you before the holibobs, however you’re celebrating, I hope you have a fab festive season.
